Diversity and equality is very important for Keolis. The Group has been actively working for more than ten years to ensure equal opportunities for all employees. Our employees are our most precious asset, and our policy is therefore to treat all employees equally and respectfully. To reinforce this, Keolis is working on GEEIS certification. This label stands for Gender Equality European/International Standard and was obtained by Keolis Belgium for the first time in 2017.

The GEEIS label is valid for two years. Keolis Belgium was rewarded for its efforts in 2019. In order to obtain an extension, Keolis must continue its commitment to gender equality and diversity. Keolis is committed to the diversity of people and ideas. This means we are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Four ambitious objectives were set by the Group within the framework of the GEEIS label: more gender diversity in our branches, making our employees aware of our commitment to gender equality, more women in positions of responsibility and equal pay for equal work.

Thanks to this policy, many branches in different countries have obtained the GEEIS certificate in the meantime. Keolis also pays special attention to gender equality at an international level. Almost 9 out of 10 colleagues worldwide work at a branch which has obtained the GEEIS label.
