2024 set to be a good year for Keolis Travel: ‘50,000 passengers served’

Nathanja van der Weide, Travel Manager at Keolis Travel, looks back with satisfaction on last year's figures. ‘We achieved very good results. Our guided day trip to Ghent and Bruges remains by far the most popular, followed by the trip to Luxembourg and Dinant and the tour to Amsterdam.’ The subsidiary has a few new features in store for 2025.

Thanks to the innovations Keolis Travel has undergone in recent years, its activities are at a top level. ‘In 2022, we had our first “comeback” year after the COVID-19 pandemic, with 27,500 passengers,’ says Nathanja. ‘The following year, in 2023, we had an incredible year. We are also seeing great results for 2024, with 50,000 passengers transported, which I am very proud of. Our main customers come from the United States, Spain, South America and India.’

With a quality score of 4.6/5 on TripAdvisor, customers remain highly satisfied with the professional service provided by Keolis drivers and Brussels City Tours guides. "Several new guides joined us last year. We have also completely revamped our website and are encouraging customers to book via our website. In addition, our brochure has been given a makeover. In short, we are looking forward to the new travel year!‘

New day trips

And there will be some changes to the range of guided day trips on offer. Nathanja: ’I want to focus on the two new tours: a walking tour in Bruges to offer tourists staying in Bruges a great guided tour. We are also adding the Remembrance Tour of WWII, which covers the Battle of the Bulge, to our range because it has a lot of potential. This is in addition to our existing Remembrance Tour of WWI, which covers the Flanders Fields from Brussels or Bruges."

We would like to thank our drivers, guides and the Keolis Travel - Brussels City Tours team for their dedication!
